I absolutely love when Sarah Jakes speaks. She always says a mouthful of truth. After watching this video, I literally had to watch it again..just to take notes the second time around. She literally said a mouthful about how people are so scared of going to the next level that God has for them, that they’re willing to hold onto familiar pain. I really hope this video blesses you like it blessed me. The message hit home and the truth rung true in my heart. The word that she spoke is a tough one, but it’s very much needed in order to confront us so we’ll grow. I pray that after watching the video, you’re up for the challenge and that God gives the strength needed for your journey of growth.
Final thought: What are you going to do with what you know now?

Yesterday, I heard “Touch the Sky” by Hillsong United for the first time and the song has really stuck with me the last 24 hours. The lyrics to this song are simple, but say so much. There are several lines that have really been resonating with me as God has spoken to me through this song:
“My heart beating, my soul breathing
I found my life when I laid it down
Upward falling, spirit soaring
I touch the sky when my knees hit the ground”
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the spoken word show on Saturday. All the love and support was greatly appreciated. Thank you to all our open mic participants and featured poets. We truly enjoyed you sharing your gift with us. Thank you for allowing us to share our gifts with you in ministering God’s word. The show went really well, the turnout was great. A special thank you to our lovely host and hostess.

The thing I enjoy most about SUB 30 at Celebration Church is their praise and worship. I enjoy praise and worship in general, but whenever I visit this church, there’s always one song I fall in love with. When I went to their service last night this song stuck with me, even now..all day. Love it. ❤

Be who God made you to be and be content living in your purpose on purpose..
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will
